negative - rained for about an hour + on saturday during the expert finals, then for about 3-4 hours saturday night. Certainly made morning practice interesting, but race conditions were mint

Unless of course you race in the Expert class, then conditions were sub-optimal.

I guess the rain would explain why times so much slower than the MSC race on the same course - it's like a minute difference...

The course was also 20 seconds or so longer than the course for the MSC race.

I dont think that it was a 20 second difference. The course added maybe 10 seconds at most, it was a little bit longer but the speeds on that bottom section were so fast that they were going that extra distance in no time. Its too bad that DelBosco was injured if he could have had a re-peat of his performance at the MSC race I think he could have cracked into the top five at the National.
