Safe to say the doc called that a 3? Ouch! Healing vibes man...
haha - wait 10 years and you'll hear all kinds of funny sounds coming from your shoulder.I've got a bump, and notice some fun crunchy sounds, but i don't ever notice it while riding. I took a pretty good spill on it two weeks ago to no I'll effect.
Now this is separation.Safe to say the doc called that a 3? Ouch! Healing vibes man...
Grade III - definitely take it easy. December might be pushing it... if you really want to go, maybe just go to cheer on folks or take photos. You'll be able to ride, but won't be able to pull up on the bars very well.just got back from ortho, grade 3 separation, surgery not required. should heal up just fine over the next few weeks, thankfully.
This is good advice but as I have said before everyone is different. I had read anywhere from 4-12+ weeks before I would be able to ride, bottom line is that the only way to know if you are ready is to wait it out. I took my DH bike out for a XC ride on sunday, felt completely fine except for 2 small twinges that I felt pulling up. other times I pulled up it was fine. I'll be on my DH bike for real on sunday, 7 weeks post injury. Just listen to your body.Grade III - definitely take it easy. Be sure to do the exercises and/or physical therapy if you can. It will help make sure you heal up properly.
