Got my twenty6 pedals in for this season as well as the new levers for the formula "The Ones". Levers fit great, went on with ease and the pedals are great.

Levers: Levers have a little different feel than stock in that you can choose either finger groove and your fingers will stay put. The sstock lever has a sprig indent with ball bearing in it to give the ratchet feel to the adjuster and add some resistance so it doesnt flkop around. That was a little tricky too get the spring out but installation of new levers was cake.
The levers are 6g heavier than stock, theres a few areas to easily mill them out to below stock weight.

Pedals: This years pedals are wider platforms then last year, they are also 1/8" or a little more wider than the xpedo magnesiums I have wich is the only thing I didnt like last year was width. As well as they are 30g ea. lighter not including lighter pins just reg pins. The macining on these is pretty incredible, as well as the ti shaft is gold! "I gots true bling MA!" :D
My feet are 13s and wide so it was nice seeing these be a fair bit wider than last year. :thumb:
I'm taking the fat pins out today and replacing them with hollow allen shin eaters that will bring the weight down a smidge more and increase the grip to amazing and dangerous.

So heres the twenty6 lineup!

That's sweet that they are in more colors, how much did those levers cost?
They are around $70 pretty on par with other companies but these have a ton of machining compared to basic replacement levers. He did a good job following the curvature of the stock levers to get that machined look and keep the weight LOW.
Pretty good value IMO considering tha amount of extra work to these than basics.

Ive got to get the levers! Looks really nice. Hows the feel compared to the stock ones?
At first it bothered me, I was standing beside bike grabbing them and didnt like the feel at first. I sat on the bike and pedalled around and they are definently NICE. Regular levers can be gripped really well 1 or 2 finger and if going 1 finger it has to be on the outer most part due to the no finger groove. Which I got used to and like, these you can run 1 finger securely and it doesnt sweep to the outside of the lever while giving more than enough bite and pull for power and control.

Bottom line is they feel great and I really like the groove to hold single finger without sweeping to end. You can choose to put it at the end obviousley but dont have too! :thumb:

Interesting. I've always felt that running your finger on the inside curve of aftermarket feels incredibly unnatural and awkward. However the stock levers on my Shimano lever have been hurting my fingers so the debate has been between Straigtline and Twenty6.
I've been wanting to go to a slightly longer stem as well so the Twenty6 has been in my eye as well.

Does Twenty6 have a distibutor?

Yeah its
http://www.bayareabicycling.com/

as far as the pins go, the new ones Tyler is specking the pedals with are perfect!
I only got 8 longer then the longest provided for the 2 outside rear pins for max traction when hammering down!

Personal pin placement is nice.
from outside in:
rear- long/med/long
middle- med/short/short
front- med/med/med

I find it helps so I can throw a foot off, when I pedal hard the rear weight is hooked solid no matter what the weather is and the front is a even bit. Center is a little lower so I can rotate foor on ball a little.

Yeah I think the same thing except when on the bike it feels like a single finger shorty lever with 2 finger capabilitie!
It actually is really smooth feeling. If you are grabbing them from off the bike they feel weird but then again you shouldn't be standing off too the side of your bike and rabbing a handfull of brake and if you are then the weird feeling is the least of your worries! :thumb:

So..

Almost $300 for a pair of pedals (with no concave)?

Not sure one could find a lower 'bang for the buck' product on a bike...but I guess that is not the point.

concave pedals wont make me any faster or do better tricks!
I personally can't believe that a little dish in a pedal is going to be that much better considering how thick and stiff 5:10s are. they are like a stiff board to begin with that aids greatly from traction pins!
Just a thought!

So you'd pay $300 if they had a concave! :D

1. Place hand on outermost edge of grip.
2. With brake lever clamp loose, hook index finger around the end of the lever.
3. Tighten lever clamp (should be about 1-1.25' space between inside edge of grip and outside edge of lever clamp.

Hooray! Now your levers are set up correctly for 1 finger braking.

How is that downtube fender working for you? I used to have a THE fender back in the day when Monster T's on hardtails were cool. I used it maybe once at Snowshoe and I think it fell off during one of my runs. The downtube fender looks promising though. How would you rate it against a sliced tube between the fork arch and lower crown?

LMAO about 1 finger brake instructions! :thumb:

Love it, soft compound tires and granite pebbly stuff equals lots of pain in the eyes! :D
I velcroed it on with home depot industrial velcro!

I still have a neoprene that goes between the crown and fork for forward spray, the fender is on downtube and keeps stuff from directly spraying at you. In muddy conditions or really wet Ill throw the neo guard on as well!

Just got some Twenty6 flat pedals. Haven't ridden flats in 2 years, but I figure I got the right pedals to start up again with. They're awesome, and SUPER light. Lighter than my Mallets.
