Up again to go wander the woods. Been quite slow, owing to warm temps and early season. I expect things to start picking up a smidgen.

Trunk or treat with the kiddo and more car stuff later.

Sleeping is hard. My grandpa died last night, which has made for a rough evening and night. My race is at 12pm. This is going to be a long day.

@stoney very sorry to hear about your grandpa.

'Morning, all. I slept in, then hit the rail trail for an 8 mile jog. Lovely morning out there. Got a long volunteer shift with the dog adoption group today...we're getting a new foster dog and Wife's intention is to keep this one.

Currently viewing Manchester City/Southampton on the Peacock.

bummer Mark

my legs are tight from yesterday gonna use the theragun on them to see if that helps. No idea what I will do today as no coffee yet because I slept through the night and did not wake up to take my Thyroid med. So now I have to wait another 30 minutes before I can consume anything :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Come visit. Those hooved vermin are everywhere out here. We currently have a handful that have found a way through our 9’6” deer fence. Chasing them out of the orchard & vines is my current primary form of exercise.

Holy shit, I slept almost 12 hours last night. Kid has state finals band thing at the Airforce Academy today and the DOD has apparently made it as difficult as possible for parents and spectators to get on to the installation. FTS.

Sorry to hear about Grandpa @stoney .

Thanks guys. The race should be interesting because I'm already pretty tired and feel the lack of sleep physically. Who knows? That might force me to drive more sensibly. Greg's comment a couple of weeks ago was that the winner will likely be the person who can stay on the track, not necessarily the fastest driver.

Sorry to hear about Grandpa @stoney .

Many moons ago I went to a bike race at Quantico. While a friend was trying to enter through the gate an MP saw a "bag of white powder" in his glovebox as he retrieved his registration. It was just a bag of climbing chalk, but it was a bit after that whole Anthrax scare. Friend was eventually let in but only after spending some time handcuffed face down in the grass with an M-4 pointed at him.

Construction trailer is completed, just need to flip the shackles back to normal. I made a dump run and got groceries and picked up some today fresh steelhead for din din.

I have to run to storage and find my drip torch. I have some piles to burn this week, and it will be raining.

Currently prepping the jeep rear end for repair and transitioning/organizing the garage into fabrication mode.

In other news,

This is the very first time in my life I have ever lived in a place that could possibly have trick or treaters, not excited about that.
