aight, that's not cool by me. no more dumbass disrespectful questions about my girlfriend fellas.

easy killer, if you think that "...does the girl come with it" is disrespectful then i'd hate to see how you handle a general compliment  obsess much?

in my defense the statement "does the girl come with it" objectifies krista as though she were a spare tire. so that you can understand where i'm coming from: "that girl" or "the girl" or any reference to my woman as an accessory that comes with a purchase is going to tick me off, i literally do not see how that could be taken as a compliment, it's only less extreme than saying "can i buy your wife" now would you think your reaction to that would be obsessive manimal? ofcourse not.

and josh i knew you were talking about the bike.

Over your shoulder whispering
I call. Nobody posts pics of a cheeseball chopper in the middle of grassy park in suburbia with his girl (wearing a bikin no less) strapped on back in full on Easy Rider format and expects anything but toilet humor and objectification of one's decorative feminine counterpart.

Oh...and you just used the word "objectifies" (feminist slang) and "my woman" (shovenist slang) in the same sentence...oxymoron.

FYI..."obsessive" threw us all off.

ummm....i'm secure enough in my marriage (1.5 years of 6 married spent w/ me deployed overseas) to understand the masculine jesting in regards to the hotness of my wife as nothing more than what it is...jesting. i still think my wife is hella hot, even after 3 kids, and i find it amusing to the point of a compliment when other men make comments like, "damn..how'd you land her and can i have her when she leaves you?". just be glad you have a girl that is beautiful and admired by others but is true to you.

you know i love you man.....but i just don't want to hear about you getting in trouble for going mental on some dude after he tries to give you a compliment on "your woman"

so can your girl ride the bike? :D

Just got back from a sweeet 3 day 3 night camping trip in Pisgah National Forest in NC. Lots of good times but not as many pics as I'd hoped because I forgot my camera battery. No pics from wed or thurs but my mom brought the battery to me on friday morning, so the pics start there.

We had the same campsite as last time, which is perfect, its kinda out there but its pretty centralized to the best, most remote routes in pisgah. Thursday night we were up on the Blue Ridge Parkway around midnight and saw a pretty nice sized Black Bear.

Anyway some pics.

First we did Black Mountain, up clawhammer rd then up to the summit, a good 5-7 mile climb, then down for about 20 minutes to the ranger's station. I went down hard goin pretty fast at the bottom and jacked my foot pretty hard, so this is the only big ride we got to do.

The view from the top.

I wish I had more shots from this trail as it is ridiculously long and fun, has wide open nasty tech sections, then drops into way tight singletrack through the rhododendrons, then opens up into a killer 2 mile singletrack section thats just massive speed with bermed turns and waterbars. Probably my favorite descent in pisgah, despite the death climb to get to it. With the combination of my half siezed front brake and the 85 degree temps in full sun, the climb was pretty rough.

Motomike on the way down.

Back at camp, this is the best campsite i've ever had, theres a nice creek right next to it, where we found a couple nice waterfalls and caught some crawfish that we then boiled and ate.

My bike at camp.

Later that evening we went to do some shooting on some singletrack near camp.

This is a hot dog I ate.

enjoy.
