Morning Monkeys.

FTS Friday, yay! Hope for a quick and quiet 8 hours of hiding and hit the weekend running. Since none of my truck parts will be here until next weekend and my new paint sprayer doesn't get here until Tuesday, I will get some much needed trail time with the pooch.

Can I go home now?

HEY-OH!!!! LMFAO! I swam 4000 yards before work. I'm volunteering at the Ironman 70.3 here in CT Sunday. I've got to wake up at 3:00 AM to be there by 5:00. :dead: I've done the race the last two years and wanted something easier this year. This race has 4000' of climbing on the 56 mile bike, and another 1500' on the 13.1 mile run. It's a tough race. Anyway, I have to poop.

I have to go order new uniforms today... new shirts are always nice.

Also, fed ex is going to hate me today. I have six garden boxes ordered, 8foot by 2 foot, one foot deep, all showing up today.....normally I build this stuff myself..... however, the price I got these for... couldn't pass it

Free vmware vsan training/salespitch today. So that means free lunch and out early. Also can ignore phone calls.

I say that's a win for a Friday.

Also, ITS FUCKING FRIDAY. Finally.

Picked up the lady friends new Bronson last night. Pretty sweet bike. I accidentally hoped on it outside the store and got the first pedal stroke on it. Oops.

GFF sent me this last night. He was swapping tires and found 3 spokes out of spec.

He has been overly excited about his new tire changing machine.

I can't dislike the today part and like the rest of this post.

If it doesn't warm up soon I'm going to need to put the damn heating back on again.

where the trails are
man, it even appears to be crudely taped on. Truly #enduro
electrical tape, to be clear.

until manufacturers settle on the TRSS, Taco Retention System Standard® , we'll do what is necessary to enduro.

(edit: credit to buddy Eric, for the pic and the ingenuity)

Was gonna go ride the MTB, but I have the squirts.
Aren’t y’all glad I shared?
I don't see why those are mutually exclusive? Make your own roostertail even if the trails are dry.

Is all that crap near Calgary from the oil fields??

I don't see any Montana fires and nothing Canadian showing near there.

We should "build that wall" on the northern border...

More than 900,000 acres of Alberta has gone up in flames, the latest symptom of our overheating planet. Wildfire risk continues to be high in the province as well as neighboring British Columbia where a heat wave has temperatures climbing into the 90s for parts of the province through the weekend.

There are currently 10 fires in Alberta raging out of control according to the province’s fire agency. The largest of which is the Chuckegg Creek Fire burning in the northwest part of the province. The blaze, combined with others in the High Level fire district, has consumed more than 610,000 acres as of Thursday according to the agency, and along with the other wildfires in the province, forced 10,000 to flee from their homes.

Gonna need a new JORB in a few weeks. Meh is high.

Going to Tahoe to get a few turns in on the bunny slopes with the girlfriend and some beginner friends. Collar bone still not healed. Falling is not allowed. Guess I'm taking it super easy.
