Looking to widen up my cockpit a bit. Fancy a set of these bars, are they strong enough for downhill?
Can't find much info about them online, they're not even listed on the Spank site.
Bike Radar says they are a DH bar, but Chain Reaction list them as a "lightweight all mountain" bar.
Also considering the Chromag Fubar OSX, any comments on either?

I couldn't get my hands on the 777's. They seemed to sell out fast. I went with the Chromag's and they're great. They're my first 30's I've ridden with, but I tried Dietys and Sunlines... I like the Chromag bend pretty well.

yeah they are plenty strong for dh. my friend kills it with these on his furax. they are WIDE! rode around on his bike a bit and the bars felt real stiff. good for dh for sure.

I've got a set, they can be ordered through BTI.

They feel pretty nice, the bend and up/backsweep all feel good, and they seem plenty stiff to me.

I would like if if they made a 20mm rise instead of 30mm, but that's just me nitpicking.

Thanks for the replies, ordered a set in pimp chrome. Should match my Session nicely :)
Got my tape measure out. 777mm is WIDE. Should be fun
