I am in the process of building up my Rotec RL9, and I am trying to decide of rims. I was looking for some red rims, and I have found these 2, but not sure how they would work for downhill... Has anyone run these before? How did they hold up?

Also, anyone know MSRP on them?

I was also thinking of going with the 721... I will probably just end up doing that anyway, but I figured I would get some advice on the other rims.

Transition Revolution 36 are red. They are going on my DH rig.

Not the spanks I have them on my preston FR they work really well but they are painted not ano'ed. so they chip really easily.

Build is looking really good so far.

If you are on a budget and need to save some $$ then look at the azonic outlaws. You can get those in red and should be able to find them brand new for under 300.00 for the entire wheel set.

Can't go with a wheelset because my bike runs a 137mm rear end (its 150, but designed for a floating brake)
