for what its worth I have owned a 2009, 2010, and 2011 demo all in size medium. they all felt very similar in size. without looking at those numbers I would have guessed they were very close in size between all the years

I just ordered a med demo I was wondering what spring I should be running in the shock and fork I'm 220 with gear on

The lbs I ordered from is clueless the salesman told me to "just add air to set proper sag"

They gave me sweet deal so I can't totally bitch

A 450lbs spring would be fine!

I'm 6' and I've been riding the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Demos in the Medium size and decided to give a try to the Large in 2012. We'll see if I made the right choice in a couple of weeks...

im your weight and ride the stock spring, its a bit soft, but i find it good for the east coast style riding

When you say soft, Do you bottom it out much?
