Hi.. I got a Specialized Demo 7 I 2007 model, with the original wheels. During transport, the black "cup" on the right of the wheel hub for the screw pin to go into is missing! I cannot screw the wheel back on. Does anyone know where I could get parts like that?

If you dont mind some weight, have panic, have bad LBS's or whatever. Should'nt any hardware-store sell a bolt that fits on there?

My problem is that there is no Specialized Import/dealer i Norway at the moment, work in progress.. So, there is no one here that could help me! DOH!! And, can not find anything on the net..

So the bolt for the thru-axle is missing? The one that functions as part of the hanger guard?


A specialized dealer should be able to get one really quickly. As a hold-over, you should be able to get the proper nut from a hardware store for the axle and just not use the hanger guard
