I had a pair long ago on my Homegrown, and I originally had been informed incorrectly that they were rebranded XTs. They're Sugino, but I believe they're just as light as the XTs, and I never had any stiffness issues. They lasted as long as I had them (2 years), and I'm a crank slayer, so I guess they're all right.

How much did you pay for theM?
