Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay and Save Mount Diablo bring you the Spring on the Mountain 2007 series of group rides!

Put these dates on your calendar, RSVP with the appropriate ride leader and come prepared to be introduced to legal singletrack on and around Mt. Diablo!

Saturday April 7th, 10:00 A.M.
Meeting Location: Monte Vista High School parking lot.
Route: We will ride to Rock City though the Dan Cook Canyon and return via a gorgeous ridge ride on the Wall Point Trail. 12 to 14 miles, approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Saturday April 21, 9:30 A.M.
Meeting Location: Mitchell Canyon Staging Area
Route: We will ride to the summit via Mitchell Canyon / Deer Flat and return via Prospectors Gap. This is a strenuous ride with great views! 15 miles, 4000 ft. Rain on day of ride cancels.

Meeting Location: Shell Ridge Trailhead at the end of Sutherland Drive in WC
Route: A 10 mile route for beginner to intermediate riders through MDSP's beautiful Pine Canyon.

Route: A 3 hour mountain bike loop ride to Shell Ridge. Bring water and a snack. Rain cancels.

Meeting Location: Finley Road
Route: A tour of the south-east section of Mount Diablo State Park ending on the remote Oyster Point single track. A strenuous ride of approximately 14 miles and 3000' gain. Rain cancels.

Route: This is a beginner/intermediate level ride to Borges Ranch and loop back via Shell Ridge. Ride time approximately 1.5 hours. Rain cancels.

Meeting Location: Black Diamond Mines trail head in Clayton

Meeting Location: Macedo Ranch
Route: We will ride to Juniper Campground via the Wall Point and Summit Trails and return via Burma Road. This is strenuous, fast paced and advanced ride. 18 Miles 3K+ ft.
