Strengths:
Skinnies... there aren't any where I ride, but I rule them! Go figure.
Jumping
Pumping
Tech
Steeps
Maintenance

Weaknesses:
Dead sailor drops
I'm weak? that's a weakness
grinds and spins and tricks. WTF, go ride a BMX bike.
Monetary resources... goddamn DH bikes

which brings me to my next point: Why is a DH race so ****ing expensive and rare, when a xc one is easy to find and no more than $30 to enter?? WHY !!! And why do we need licenses to race? Why?

Races are gay.

Strengths: Anything with less than two feet of air or so. Flat landings on concrete :) . Surviving braking bumps on a hardtail.

Weaknesses: More than a few feet of air sketch me out.

Weaknesses:
1) Flat turns
2) Super tech rock sections. (I can take normal tech, but once you throw me down something like boondocks at N*, I get overwhelmed)
3) Bailing (I wish I got into BMX when I was younger. Because I didn't and just rode XC, I now officially suck at not getting hurt. I think all pure-breed mtb'ers do.
4) College and Part time Jobs. I CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING!

Stregnths:
1) Having fun.
2) Regaining confidence quickly after falls. I know guys who take multiple rides to get back to their old mental state.

Strengths:

+I have been DH racing my HT for a while (my best was 8th at the fontana national (I could have done better and it wasn't my fault)

+trialsy/street stuff: I can now get to the top of a picnic table. I am decent on skinnies, although, there are none here...

+jumps/drops: I can do them, but not the big ones. My biggest drop is probably 6-8' to landing.

+I bring a bunch of stuff in my hydration pack (ask ciaran).

Weaknesses:

-Cornering: braking too much when cornering, but improving.

-Brakes: need to let go and carry more momentum over stuff (maybe this will be easier on a full suspension).

-Finding time to do rides; I should be doing a lot more...

Feeling the lag
Strengths: decent technical ability

Weaknesses: if my head's in the wrong place all the experience in the world can't help me.

And fitness is a bit of an issue these days:dead:

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Strengths:
I have SO much fun when I ride
I improve with just about every ride
I am told that I am good with technical stuff (rocks/roots)

Weaknesses:
Fitness -- I am really working hard on gettin back to my pre-pregnancy fitness level
Speed -- I am not the fastest rider and am working on carring my speed better
Finding time to ride -- must find more time to ride (especially DH -- I haven't been since Memorial Day of 2005) :(

Strengths: I'm more brave than I should be.

Weaknesses: Well, I pretty much suck at riding, so take yer pick.
I disagreee - IAB is a pretty damned kickass rider if you ask me.

I'd say his biggest strength is his balance. He can ride tricky skinny stuff really well.

Case in point that little log/ladder section of trail last night.

Strengths -
-Trials and slowspeed techy Urban
-Rocky technical DH
-Enough self-knowledge to push myself every time I ride without getting hurt (*knock on wood*)
-Ability to keep a smile on the face regardless of whats going on.
-Endurance

Weaknesses
-Any drop where I can't see the landing.
-Just turned 21...... money is gone and belly is swelling.
