Angry baby today. Put her down for the nap and got in a workout while Wifey stayed home with her. 3 miles at 8:03 per mile. It's amazing how much faster/more efficient you become once you get your stride back. Also got in 500 yards in the pool. Slow, but steady.

Last full day in Cannon Beach. Driving back north tomorrow, then picking up my on-order 29er tires from Performance (shipped to store) and test driving a Kia for fun and profit, or at least the latter. $250 in gift cards for a single test drive is the Memorial Day weekend deal, so why not?

Had a great day of downhill riding on the new bike, until.......

Was headed home on the freeway and was behind a car with a dog in it. Dog either fell out or jumped, but I saw it all

Such a rough thing to see. And to make it worse, these people stopped in the live fast lane and the female passenger got out IN TRAFFIC.
