Just curious as to what exactly the spring rates should be. Using this spring rate calculator you should be using the same spring rate as per a single pivot, despite the DW link having multple pivots. I sent IH an email asking for spring rates but i am yet to receive an answer...

So... what would the spring rate be for a 90kg rider is 325 right? Or a 120kg rider- is 425 right?

I actually run quite a bit softer spring than that calculator reccomends. I weigh about 180 lbs and run a 325 spring on a Progressive 5th Element Coil. I started out the season on a 300. According to that calculator I should run a about 375 which seems like it would be too stiff when the shock is tuned to IronHorses specs.
Even though the DW- link bikes have "multiple pivots" they are designed to have very low leverage ratios. This allows you to get away with running verly light spring rates.

My weight varies between 145 / 155 (66kg to 70kg) and I ran a 275 all year on my progressive.

With a DHX I will probably need 300 (or maybe 325/350)

I'm 25/20lbs heavier than you and run the same spring. Anyone want to trade for a 300 or a 325? I have a 400lb aswell;)

A 275# Progressive spring should work best for the average rider weight of approx 180lbs. w/ a Fox DHX we recommend a 300# spring for the same rider weight.

I am approx 195-200lb and ride a 300# on the Progressive and 350# on the Fox.

The Swinger sets up similar to the Progressive. I would recommend no more than a 300# spring for your weight.

I'm 180 lbs and run a 275# on a progressive. About 75psi in the chamber, one full turn on the air volume adjuster.

I've been wanting to try a 300, but the it feels so perfect now, my sag is right with only a few turns on the spring. Why mess with perfection?

So for a 90kg rider (~200pounds) a 300 is the go. Then, for a 120 kg (~260pound) rider, something around ~400 looks right.

How 'bout for a 230 (about 240 with gear) pound rider, 350 spring? Curious as I just ordered my Sunday, and I know the stock spring is going to be too weak for my large self.

I weigh in at ~225-235 and run a 400# Ti spring. the sag is just right with just enough turns to keep the spring from rattling. I don't know if it being Ti has anything to do with it but it still feels very plush for that high a spring weight.
