This is why I don't let my kid sleep in my bed. Not even once. Why won't the younger kid sleep alone for more than 5 hours? Oh well. At least she's a warm bundle to snuggle with.
why not, they do make hitch receivers for Mini'sMe go ride!
Finally had some time, found local parks with decent singletrack. Have to jam hardtail into the trunk of the Mini. Think I need one of those cheesy bike racks that straps onto the rear. (Can't do a hitch rack, alas...)
Bronchitis untreated turns into pneumonia. Been there, done that.Wife, who has been sick for a month now finally goes to get seen (I had been pushing this for 2 weeks but she "didn't have time"). Initially diagnosed as bronchitis by urgent care ding-dong, I again called BS but was ignored. Phone rings this morning--chest x-ray shows pneumonia. Hooray for antibiotics. Looking forward to healthy/happy better half. Many points received on my part for pushing the issue to get her sorted out. This will be banked against future impulse purchases...
I also have a wife who refuses to have access to the hatch impeded, and live in an apartment that makes removal/storage/reinstallation of a hitch rack an impossibility.
Went to see Jefferson's Monticello yesterday which was really cool. Need to finish a presentation for an interview tomorrow morning.
Spinners are worse than roadies... true fact. Also it snowed here, not the good kind. The spring kind.Spin class didn't kill me. I don't think I'll go back, though.
Have you considered a car that doesn't suck?I also have a wife who refuses to have access to the hatch impeded, and live in an apartment that makes removal/storage/reinstallation of a hitch rack an impossibility.
She's not keen on a roof rack, either.
have you looked at swing away bike racks? one pin and you swing the whole assembly out of the way giving full use of the hatch and making it so you do not have to remove the rack ever.I also have a wife who refuses to have access to the hatch impeded, and live in an apartment that makes removal/storage/reinstallation of a hitch rack an impossibility.

found in soot covered duffel bag....spooky jersey/spooky mechanics shirt....
Rode on snow for the first time since my ride in Sedona. It was nice and all, but it reminded me that summer riding on dirt rules.daydreaming about summer riding for the rest of the day.
It's hers. My Subaru (with Sportworks rack) is up at the vacation house. And it's fun to drive. Only wish it was rear-wheel.Have you considered a car that doesn't suck?
Appreciate the advice, because I hadn't really thought of that, but all of this is more elaborate than I need, and that she'll tolerate on her car. My job will have me deployed for weeks/months on end for the next few years. On the rare occasions I'll get to ride, a little fold-away trunk (hatch) rack will need to do it for me...have you looked at swing away bike racks? one pin and you swing the whole assembly out of the way giving full use of the hatch and making it so you do not have to remove the rack ever.
If not, get an old school single tail extra wide skateboardhellz yeah! there are others in the area, but this one is 5 mins from work!!! hope they allow bikes...
