Downhill day. I think I shall bust out the long sleeve Ridemonkey jersey if I can find it.

Doing a 20km ride over to a microbrewery for a birthday thing, two towns over. Not sure if smartest idea or not.

Only one small sketchy piece of road to navigate on the way back. But half of it is on river paths, so should be neat.

Fingers crossed it doesn't rain.

Looking for a job being a specialist in a narrow field is soul draining, Especially when your job doesn't mean meeting many people. On the bright side the dj bike is working again and I have a nice pumptrack 200m from my flat so I will go ride it at night since it has lighting for such occasions.

Morning. Out my buddy on some really nice deer this morning right at 20 yards. Super dense vegetation, I saw a good life ne if aight, he did not. . Just couldn't get him a clear line to harvest....... He ended up putting in a good hour long creep/stalk. Was his first up close stalk. He is hooked on the close range hunting now.

And... One of the guys fucked up the shuttle schedule and we missed it. 8am vs 9am. Next is 1230. So much for going to the wet side of the Cascades.

Woo I didn't die on the road. Google said it'd take 60 minutes to bike here, but I made it in just over 30.

Oops, be at everyone here so might as well start early. I'm thirsty.

Going up as soon as Ferdinand finishes pre flight

Open cockpit planes are such a different experience. Enjoy it!

So, upon further inspection, we have decided to gussy the rental up. Some new paint, some drywall work, new (to us) hot tub, etc. Got a few weeks of work. I guess that's not bad for not doing anything but stain for 9 years.

Two good road rides this weekend trying to get some speed into the road bike and some miles into the legs as I will finish off the month with 190km and 160km gravel rides. Beach weather today which is spectacular for Denmark.

Our exchange student arrived today and seems like the sweetest girl ever. Besides have Danish as second language she had a tough time getting a word in with my two sons talking like crazy.

Afternoon Monkeys.

New neighbors moving in next door. Jen asked if we should bother meeting them before they get divorced.

Quick background: original owner locked wife in closet while he "went to church" with another woman. Divorce, house sold.

2nd owner molested step daughter and goes to prison. House empty 5+ years until bank finally gets it.

Flipped after auction to 3rd couple, divorced 1 year later.

4th owners divorce 6 months after purchase, house on the market a month. They left Friday night. New owners showed up yesterday.

Changed brake pads on my Honda today. Basically exactly the same as Shimano XT.
