I for one am shocked, shocked I tell you! Don't you have Daihatsu or Suzuki in America? Suppose there's a few others not on the list as well though, all the French makers, Fiat. Interesting to see the Korean makers so high up. Still can't buy one for love or money here in Japan. About the only Korean thing making traction here are smart phones.

the list isnt surprising at all. Ford fell because of issues with the Exploder, Fiesta and Focus. VW's recent issues with their cars arent reflected in this list.

Yeah, how dare Consumer Reports actually focus on "repairs and reliability" instead of "customer satisfaction"?

I've had nothing but problems with my 2010 Audi, it seems like I'm not alone. I didn't buy it for reliability but 5-6 times back to the dealer in 30,000 miles is ridiculous.

it is a VW. no one ever said they are reliable .
i wasnt even talking about issues with 2010 models. VW and Audi latest recall on their TDi's arent reflected in this list.

JD includes things like "rattles" or "doesn't get the gas mileage I was promised". CR includes straight-up repair bills, and how much those bills cost. I'll take CR's reliability any day over JD.
