I am switching from my 5th to a swinger. Do I need to change to a different spring rate or should the Swinger use the same spring for my bodyweight?

Should be the same......if it's the same bike and everything you should just be able to switch things over and be riding again!

The swinger might have some different settings than say the 5th (number of turns on things etc....) but spring rate wise you should be OK.
