my medium frame weighed 8.76 lbs with dhx 5.0 and fox steel spring (350x2.75). weighed on ultrasport 30 scale. i'm not sure how accurate or reliable the scale is but at least it's consistent in terms of weighing the same item numerous times and getting the same weight reading.

fyi, i spoke to specialized canada and they gave me these numbers: 7.5 lbs without shock, 9.2 lbs with shock and spring.

I weighed a 2007 small at 9.2lbs with 300lb spring (but the spring was a 3.25inch spring). This included the seat clamp.
