¡Mira, una ardilla!


This came out yesterday in a local biking forum: Zenith is an Argentinian bike brand, this is their Saka model (a VPP/DW-Link ripoff). Some local genius decided the rear brake wasn't independent enough from the suspension, so he created this floating brake mount for his bike...

Placed where it is, it puts a forward force on the brake support, and a rearward force on the swingarm. In an isolated situation this would rotate the shock link in such a way as to extend the suspension and counteract brake sag.

Is this a smart way to connect it, I can't say, but the basic premise is not completely off.
