The Reba off my Paragon. Gotta remove the spacers and take it out to 100mm, though. Sold the warranty frame, and all the parts are moving over to this one, except for a new XT crank to replace the Bonty piece of crap and a king headset to replace the old Cane Creek.
First ride today was great. After finishing the build last night, and riding it around the neighborhood, I was nervous- head angle felt steep, steering felt a bit "weird" on pavement. On the trail, though, it was something else- light, nimble, fast. I've never ridden a 29er that carves singletrack turns like that. Really fun to ride.
Funny thing was, side-by-side with 6th Element's Sultan, the head angle appeared to be nearly identical with forks at 100mm.
Tackled some climbs on Sunday at Highbridge Park that I hadn't been able to clean on my Uzzi (too heavy) or my Paragon (too, uh, whatever) before. Took a little video just for "proof"- video doesn't do justice to how rocky or steep this section is- it's tough enough to ride down, much less climb up. Bike climbs well through the uber-tech stuff...
