Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
really seems that way.

Regardless, Disco is trying to play games with the other teams as to who's #1. To me, that's a sign of weakness.
I don't think so.... I think that Contador might have been the guy all along. They certainly have done nothing to dispel that. I think folks just expected Levi to be the leader but.....

that was sad. I hope the dog's not hurt. He limped away all upset like. It's owner needs a boot to the head.

Old Yeller should have been on a leash but still.

You would think riding out in the open he would have turned more to the left to avoid him.

I'm just judging from the pictures it's hard to tell how fast he was going.

It looked like he locked up and was fish-tailing a bit.

When I'm on a long group road ride, I generally just look at the wheel in front of me. If I go looking at the scenery and the pretty flowers along the side of the road, I'm asking to eat pavement. He probably didn't even see the dog until it was too late, and he was probably going faster than anyone here is capable of.

Vino is a monster competitor. It's amazing how many stitches he has, that he pops some out during a ride... I know it's hard for a guy like him, but he should be happy with everything considering how much damage his body has taken.

Yeah I feel bad for Vino too. I really wanted to see him up there fighting. That guy has always been really f'in tenacious and a total blast to watch racing. I hope he gets strong for the Pyrenees and destroys the rest of those pussies.

It was disappointing that Menchov couldn't get his ass over the Galibier. I think it's a climber's Tour.
That boy better learn how to TT quick if he wants to talk smack like that.

No doubt. I am happy to see him in yellow though, always gotta root for the x-mtbrs. Evans looks like he has a good shot at podium, if not winning the Tour. Who is a better time trialist Valverde or Evans?

In theory I'd root for the MTBer but I tend not to like folks who publicly crap on teammates. It would also help if he could descend and not crash a bike on a straight flat road.

I've heard he's not very well liked by some of the people out there, be it teammates or mechanics. But the guy can climb.
This was interesting too:
"It was disappointing that Menchov couldn't get his ass over the Galibier."

I'd like to see Evans do well, but I'm still thinking that Klodi can climb pretty well, and since he doesn't have to babysit Vino anymore, maybe he can make something happen. Plus he's a pretty good time trialist...

LOL....I was watching his stage win from last year the other day, how did he ever ride a mountain bike?? He was going off the road on corners, crashing when there was a little gravel....maybe he dumped so much of his upper body weight he just can't control the bike :)

He handles a bike like a triathlete.:disgust:

I bet he wears sleevless jerseys and armwarmers at the same time too.

LOL...all he is missing is the water bottle on the aero bar. The BIG question, will he bust it out as a "secret weapon" on the next time trial?? :brow:

I have to think Contador is the man for Disco. Its great to see Valverde and Evans riding so well. I think Vino can still make a ride of it, and really hope he just crushes everyone on one of the later stages.

been some fun racing to watch so far.

So far I have enjoyed this tour the most. It is still wide open. Mountain stages have just eliminated a few of the weak, although Valverde and Contador look really strong.

I like Ras, and I think its great he's not afraid to tell it as it is ""It was disappointing that Menchov couldn't get his ass over the Galibier."

AND talk about a pussy "the normally stoic Vino' weeps after conceding more time on Tuesday"...suck it up princess

When was the last time the Tour wasn't decided after the first week? 10+ years? I'm into it.
I think Klodi is going to be the man to beat at this point, The Chicken can't TT, add the pressure of trying to win, let alone keep 3rd, and he's boned...

It seems that it is not just Rasmussen that is talking trash about Menchov, seems other team mates are too. Maybe the guy is a douche, as rule I would never trust anyone whose first name is that close to penis. I'm not sure it I want to see Rasmussen do well on the TT or watching the amusing car wreck he was a few years ago. Either way I'll root for the former MTB'er and the guy who can TT in Cadel Evans.
