Mayo's Reason For Retiring...
One of the big pre-race favourites, Iban Mayo, went for a ride during yesterday's rest day. He was not happy with his form and has opted to abandon the race.

15 H 12 - Ullrich Committed To Stage...
Ullrich has put 35" into Armstrong on the 4th climb of stage 15. He has even stood out of the saddle a few times to increase the tempo (something that the 1997 Tour champion rarely does)... now he's dropping the water bottles from his bike to reduce the weight he has to carry to the summit of the Col des Limouches.

Armstrong doesn't seemed worried...
