McEwen crashes 25km out and his team fell back to get him. They were not even in the peloton at 7km. Even if he catches up, he still had to get through 180 riders to get to the front of the pack to even challenge for the today's stage win.
Then out of nowhere, he fvcking blows by everyone, even the other great sprinters. How did Boonen, Zabel, et al. allow that?
Also, I was disappointed that Auge didn't get the King of the Mountain jersey. He busted his ass to get the points, but apparently his team didn't think about keeping Millar out of the second place points which put him back in first.
Is there a reason his team didn't send someone to try to take 2nd in that climb?
