Team Voncooper Race Report May 2-3

Hello everyone!

This weekend was the first race weekend on the East Coast. The race was held at Plattekill Mountain Bike Park . The track was really fun. It had some steep sections and a lot of flow to it. It was just really fun to ride. Team Voncooper set up the pit area this weekend and everyone was really enjoying the new trailer. It still needs a lot of work, but for a first weekend it was great!

This season Team Voncooper has two branches for the team. One part of the team is Sponsored by the Mongoose Tribe and the other half of the team is not. One of the new team members Chris Higgerson got second place in the Pro class by only .00001 of a second. This season looks promising for “Big Higg”. Sean put together a great run and got 2nd in the Category 1 19-29 class. Donnie got 2nd in the Category 1 old man Class by a very small margin. Over all the weekend was a great success for Team Voncooper. We had three riders on the box and everyone else had great times and results.

finally able to see the video now....fraser's crash looked gnarly. it looked back from the get go.

and its funny to see Nolan throwing his beer in disgust at Buffalo Mike

Now I know i'm not the only one who's debated the fact of running handguards.

Fraser, dude killer crash, hope your okay. Atleast it was on film.

i am real sorry i missed that race! seemed like a really fun time with the great platty vibe.

wow! Chris Higgerson has got to be one of the most consistent top pros...

Jamie Ford back on the box after 2 years not riding DH, thats impressive.

plattekill is rad, great bunch of racers up there, Cooper, Ulmer, Ortiz, Snyder, et al. some heavy hitters.

Buffalo mike is the joke.

He also got beer sprayed on him near the finish line. He won last place.

To further clarify, they know each other well. It was all in good fun. Buffalo mike would have gotten DFL regardless of the number of beers thrown at him.

thats what im saying. i cant believe he did that! what a waste of a beer.

oh wait, it was a PBR....i feel sorry for Mike, the rider

and yes, youre not supposed to know, nor will you. muhahaha
