If you are looking for some good trails Bent Creek is fun... Pisgah has some amazing trails... if you go to Sycamore bike shop just across from the entrance they can tell you all the good trails.. I have done a lot of Bent creek just because its the closest and I have quite a bit of fun on it... I think its way more fun when you have a slightly shorter travel trail bike rather than a freeride bike. I usually hardly feel the need to pick up the DH bike when I'm back riding great trails on my trail bike... in good time you will learn some of the best trails are found over in around Asheville and Brevard and with the right setup it will feel like you are riding Downhill and make you a better DH rider.... you pick lines better..
