I would echo Doug's words. Seemed like everything was well thought out this year, everything went smooth, and the weather even played nice by sundays! Great course variety by Brad and crew. Even in the midst of budget cutbacks, a small staff, and a bad economy in general they found a way to keep most everyone happy and yearning to come back for more fun and punishment.
A big thanks also needs to go out to guys like Ninja Bob, who is not only a class act in his own right, but his passion and dedication to Snowshoe is what helped push a lot of projects that Brad wanted to get accomplished this year.
Big props. I've managed to make the fall race 3 years in a row now and the subtle changes each timea re great. Plus you can tell what trails are receiving constant attention from the staff. 2 big thumbs up!
nah thanks to all of yall from all of us. we really appreciate the love and we're going to keep it rolling. we are all super pumped on the season we had as well and it's not possible without our riders!!
I think I was there nearly every weekend they were running the Western lift this summer. Jeebus I'm wore out!!!
People are starting to ask me "You work up here don't you?"
Thanks everyone for a great summer so far. It ain't over yet!!!
Gotta burn in that "Missing Link" trail and finish drinking the rest of the beer in the Weiner bar. All the Mountaineer Pale Ale was gone last weekend.
Like Doug said, great race series this year. I really liked the courses and the general organization. The new trails are a lot of fun. I also would be racing my MX bike if SS had not been putting on such good races.
Any idea when the #3 results and series standings will be up?
