The many bikes of MMcG

I started going back through all our old pics - pretty much since we met MMcG. And finding the pics was easier than I thought - so let's go for stroll through memory lane, shall we?

His first bike was a hard tail Marin

Next came is first full suspension - the Balfa in March 2004

As far as I can see, he actually kept this bike for a long time - and owned a few simultaneously.

Here is his Jamis roadie

Later to be replaced with the Serotta

Back to MTB.....
2004 brought this hard tail - Snipes

2004 also saw the full on DH Cheetah Prowler

2005 was a busy year too. I found this black beauty - the Zion perhaps?

and of course the Schwinn (originally bought for the GF but he rode it so it counts)

The Ted Wojick

And finally the Surly in 2005

2006 - new year, new set of bikes to try!

We have the Surly Karate Monkey in June 06

and the Niner in Sept 06

Not sure what year the Craftworks was but I'm gonna guess here

and of course 2007 has been a good year...
the on one in april 07

and the redline July 2007

Please add to this thread if I missed any - I feel like I did!

jollytime was the one with the orange instigator. Mine was a silvery grey and I did have a hollowpoint too. IAB is right on target with the DMR as well. You guys are missing one or two others (and maybe a few frames too). :)

Also, bonus points to those of you who know who the original owner of the Schwinn was - he's also a Monkey.

Yep the HOllowpoint was short lived (too bad it had such a long Top Tube and was so damned tall riding).

More bonus points for those of you who can identify the previous owner of the Red Z1 SL (think awesome ride reports)

Oh and a few others of honorable mention.

1. First roadie - Univega Suprasport - from Scott's in Willimantic (that shop is like a bicycle history museum!)
2. I also briefly owned a Kona Stinky Five (also went to an RM member)
3. I also briefly owned a Cannondale Chase frame ( I think I sold that on ebay)

The big Balfa - the BB7!
I sold a few bb7s to local and not so local shops - but never actually owned one myself.

The 2Step DH was my demo bike if you will, but I had to buy it - I then sold it to Yosei in Boulder who rode the crap out of it. It is still alive and well and being ridden to this day (just looks a bit different) by someone else.
