Saw the Kraken just down the road one night under a dock in Olympia
Best mountain car ever. You can leave it abandoned for days and no one messes with it
5 days in the North Cascades canoe trip
5 days floating on the upper missouri in Montana. Didn't see another person the entire time. Campsites. Full panorama go here

I've had an incredible summer here in Appalachia but this still makes me want to move West.

Brungeman- haha, we saw that barge on a canoe trip up the diablo/ross lake area and it had a much better view of the mountains than the shore spot. No stakes, we weighted it down with gear
