what would be the perfect bike for you?

MINE
165-175mm rear travel
170-180 front travel with triple clamp fork (why don't they make triple clamps that are adjustable in 180 and 200 mm?)
65-66 head angle (preferrably adjustable)
420-430 chainstays (preferrably adjustable)
26 wheels (well ok, 27.5 is ok too)

i could build a bike like this at about 14.5-15 kg and take it anywhere, trails, enduro, bike park, downhill. :weee::weee:

a bike that comes really close...:

I hate the feel a 200mm fork gives so just run one rate higher spring in my Boxxer and very rarely ever reach 180mm travel

They do, the fox 40 has been adjustable down to 180 since forever.

Why no Intense Uzzi with a lowered Boxxer or Dorado? ;)

Dorados are adjustable to 180mm.

I always thought they'd be great on a 170mm frame like that, just so you don't ever have to risk stem twisting. They're basically light enough.

The thing is, at 180mm the Dorado is just as tall as other 200mm forks. So why not just get the extra 20mm of travel with no front end height penalty?
