(Assuming you already have the best of everything on your bike....whatever brand of parts they may be.) It all boils down to tires. There has been no other part on a bike that so many top professionals were willing to breach there contract with than tires. There has been no other part that you see mechanics with spares of at the start line ready to swap at any given moment.
