prolly gonna be at hood for their first spring race that weekend, unless i can talk my dad into letting me drive his jeep to ashland!
i prolly won't make it cuz we are hitting mt hood #1 on that weekend

ashland is 4hrs from hood right?
It's about 325 miles. Probably a little longer than 4 hours. Probably depends a lot on traffic.
Pretty close to a 6 hour drive from Government Camp to Ashland.
It'll be worth it though, the Thaw is awesome.

the spring hood race is one day since its an xc trail and u dont need a whole day to practice it. portland to ashland is about six hours... i might try to make both, gonna be a fun drive if i do.

Ashland trails:
Should be little to no Mud, as overall the drainage is really good, and the trails are getting better by the minute.
The rain stopped here yesterday, i saw none today, with little to none in the forecast.
BUT, the traction should be beyond excellent (for around here, where when the granite gets dry a thin layer of sketch quickly develops)

Another fun year! I was disappointed with my race run - had a lot of errors 
But, I won my class. Odd because the times in my class were way slower last year.
