I have the Gemini Lights Duo 2200 (has remote!) and it's almost overkill. And seeing as I never ride when it's "that" cold, battery life is never an issue.

How have they been treating you
V1 X3 has been great, no issues whatsoever, used it this morning. V2 X2 conks out early and goes into limp mode when it's not all that cold, like low single digit F and so. Supposedly it just needs an update of the firmware, according to Action LEDs. Otherwise the V2 X2 is great too, but need to get it more stable for cold temps. I'll wrap some of my self-contained lights with tape to deactivate the cooling fins and make em warmer. I'll insulate the batteries if I think the ride will be that cold/necessary, usually not an issue though. The quality and performance are great overall.
