Day 4 of powerpoint bludgeoning. Global leadership arrived last night to join the fun. 7:21 a.m. EST and my FTS meter is pegged.
oh joy we get to spend our morning at Highland Hospital in Oakland. Armed cops guard the ambulances, such the nice hood.
Off to the dealership today for an emissions related reflash. Heres to hoping the additional warranty coverage makes up for any possible issues it could introduce.
Little stresfull at the moment between trying to buy a house and busy at work. Really looking forward to the spring season so I can get back on the mtb.
I'm currently spending non-working hours packing and dealing with house stuff that needs resolving before closing. Getting ready to move across the country to a temporary rental, so we need to find something long term. Then I just got told I need to travel for a work trip two days before closing in a couple of weeks...
FTS needs a long bike ride to lower it a little.

Really hope this house purchase happens so I don't have to rent something and I have a long term solution. It's just the sell that needs to get some inspections finalised before we can do the necessary paperwork. All I can do it pester the agent.
I'm not. When the 6th fam had open houses for their place, I would drive through their neighborhood shooting out of the car window to scare away potential buyers. The CO 
crew is going to miss these two badly.

small child is sick. Large child is apparently healthy, but the likelihood of illness is extreme. Hoping she can hold off until tomorrow afternoon so she can finally get her fuckin' braces off.

freakin' cold this morning. it was -27°C (-13°F) when I dropped off my oldest off at 6:30 this morning at the departure point for his team to go to the races at MSA... It's supposed to warm up by the time the races start tomorrow....
Another reminder that we're almost 3.5 years in and I've maintained my status as the favorite parent for all but maybe a week. And even that week was more like 50/50.

My daughter was 2 days old when I made the call. I was in a week later. I'm still trying to convince my boy that 2 is plenty for him. Lord help him with #2, she's gonna be a handful.
Currently laid up for day two with the Colorado flu, but feeling way better than I did yesterday. I am stuck in a nice condo full of food and warm drinks with all of the streaming services, so there are worse ways to spend a sick day. Hoping I feel well enough tomorrow to get some skiing in. My boss gave me the okay to change my vacation days to sick days, so that's cool.
