Does anyone know if it's open yet. Early last week the bridges where still gone.

All bridges on NW Timber were not only out but gone last weekend.
So, who knows. The old route on the power line road below it is still open to complete the loop though.

Word around the campfire is that they've been flying in the new bridges with helicopters today.

We arrived in the parking lot just in time for the DNR guy to come tell us all the trails were closed....Bridges were being flown in today. Not sure when trails with the bridges will open back up. Re-route should be open tomorrow though.

TIGER UPDATE​

The bridge material was flown in yesterday and is now in place. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the timing but I just got off the phone with the DNR and the closure was a temporary measure while the chopper was overhead delivering the material. Apparently one individual ignored the Trail Closed signs and fencing and still made his way down to be greeted by DNR personnel. Please respect the closure not only for your safety but for the integrity of the sensitive bridge area under construction.

I was informed that we are now tentatively looking at a September 1st reopening date.
