HFXs work just fine,despite whining on the intrawebz.
out of all of the bikes ive ridden with HFXs, i didnt have a single pair that worked decent... it was more or less they were just there to make noise.

JBP doesn't actually use his brakes. He just needs to cover up as much of his handle bars to prevent his mustache from getting angry. It is rather territorial and if it sees what is presumed to be a challenger it will attack. Putting the rest of the brakes on the bike just prevents uncomfortable questions.
