What? Like 3 years now right? I guess they are just talking about Frank himself or something.

That sounds pretty awsome (I think).
I hope to see some cool stuff soon.
Also, I always wondered how well sinister was doing - I never saw a whole lot of frames on the forums I check regularly, but I guess their sales have been pretty substancial if they've opened a new plant and stuff.

Right on!

Yeah, I'm up for ummm... Product testing :D

Well if their marketing guy needs any graphic art, I'm pretty good with all that stuff. I'm sure we'll cross paths sooner or later, small town and all.

Maybe if I actually had any useful knowledge about bikes :( , but I will whore myself out for a discounted bike :D . I really like the look of their new "free ride" bike. I hope to hear some more info. on that. It looks like it would suit my needs nicely.

Well, Walpole is like 15 minutes from my house - I go up there from time to time to visit Burdick's Chocolate (mmm.. Burdick's Chocolate... Best chocolate in the world, no joke - they're famous!  ).

Maybe I'll stop by their factory and see if they have any frames kicking around that they want to lend me :p

I actually heard it from a guy that races bmx locally. He was touring Brew's place for some reason and saw some sinister frames being fabbed up, or at least that's what he said. I don't know any of this first hand. I thought it was an interesting rumor though.

hahahah......rumors rule......

no, no brew making frames.........just us. Good to finally get the word out about what was really going on.

All you SB peeps, i need a tour damnit.....i keep hearing about tunnel and the ellwood dj. seems like quite a riding scene you have here. I hope to have the demo fleet out here in the next few months so i can set up some demo days and let some "umm product testing" take place....drop me a line and introduce yourself if you're from the SB...

It didn't make any difference to me 'cause I got a Ridge and an Endless. Like both of them a lot. Glad to hear Sinister is squared away now.

Noah's your man for the DH scene, he's quite the tour guide. I'm not back in town quite yet, but usually down for a mid-week XC ride...

I wonder what happened to Bill Lazdowski. I've known him since they were asking Marzocchi for permission to use the name Sinister. I saw him at Diablo at the end of the summer. When I asked him how things were going, all he said was that he hadn't been at Sinister for 2 weeks. He seemed really bumbed out so I dodn't ask anymore questions.

Bill is back, involved with product development.....the team is back in place.

This is great news to hear that Sinister is back - but is there any chance you can tell us the whole story of what happened during the Transition period? I remember reading about some cool new paint technique you were using on the frames and I thought that derived from that auto company backer you had - will there be changes to the frames in any real noticeable way or will they stay the same?

What's your's Noah?

Mine are Palmieris and El Zarape on the West Side (San Andreas). The best thing about them is that they are right next to each other, decent pizza place on the other side too. Both places will bring the food over to the bar, Palmieris has some cool bartenders and a chilled, friendly atmosphere. It can be dead some nights, but it is a great place to watch games with a bunch of TVs. Plus it is in walking distance.

First and foremost, Sportsman, then Jimmy's or Palmieri's (I used to live on Mission so short walk for me too) and I used to dig Creekside but it's not so cool w/o Deano there anymore. Also Shalhoobs is killer for epic eats, good drinks and my buddy Bryce manages there. SB has too many great bars...

I can't wait to move back to the area!

I have been meaning to try the Sportsman, a girl in one of my classes had some good things to say about it too.

If you think Joes is a stiff poor, you are in for trouble at Sporty. I haven't been there but a few times in the past year but I hear it's gotten a bit trendy. I hope that's not the case because what makes it so rad is that you can get away from all that State St. hype and only walk a few feet off of State. :)

Well it depends

Wildcat if its a "shopping" night

Firebird on Cota if I'm wanting to relax. Good beers and wine and a very low key environment. James freakin loves that place :p Good tunes too. Elsie's is another low key favorite.

If I'm into seeing a show, I'd say Velvet Jones.

Sean, you're coming back to SB? When? Why?

hahahah...........um, yea.....isnt that the next most important thing.

hiked out to ellwood today....sweeeeet setup, tons of stuff to play on, looks like it gets lots of use......

As for the story of the transition, it's history....a change of ownership and a more positive direction steered by FTW and crew is all that went down...no drama. The bikes wont change, the paint wont change, only thing different is the phone number....and sum jerk in SB now
