Any opinions on the Transition TOP as a street bike. The head is a little slack in angle, but I'm getting old and slower. I can get a really killer deal on a complete. Thanks in advance.

mine rides great for street, as soon as i get my new fork it will be dialed. the only real down side is the bike is alittle heavy but that mostly depends on your build.

It's pretty light to me. Most are built at around 30lbs. My Azonic Evolution is 35.

I'm a big dude, so I'd rather have built over light and disposable. I like that they have a "real" large size with the CS staying short. Won't that make the large size even a little more rear weight biased?

its cromo... the frames are like 7 lbs, hardly light.

It's 6.3 lbs. Steel doesn't mean heavy.

ok, sorry .7 off. its a transition, and that automatically makes almost any build heavy.
