Been running UST for 5 years now and have had great luck with the Hutchinson Barracuda tires but it appears they no longer make the 2.1 UST except for the Airlight version which does not have very tough sidewalls at all. Killed two in the past 6 months. The 2.3 is still a good tire which i run up front but I need a tougher 2.1 UST for the rear.

I have had good luck with the Kenda Nevegal 2.1 UST. It holds up in the rocky terrain of the South East. Doesn't like narrow rims though. On an XM819 it would squirm a bit if run under about 35psi. Big for a 2.1 tire, maybe 2.15-2.2 across the knobs.
Another one I like is the maxxis high roller 2.35 lust, yeah the 2.35
It measures about 2.15-2.2 so I figure it is fair to recommend.
