I read a comparison between the LFA and an AMG Mercedes (SLR, I think). The article said both cars were VERY comparable until you looked at the transmissions, where the LFA lagged WAY behind the Mercedes.

it was probably a comparison b/w the LFA and the MB SLS AMG since that model has a 7-speed Dual Clutch gearbox and the LFA still has a sequential gearbox.
the SLR has a basic Merc transmission.

the articles ive read complaining about the tranny was thought to be because they are still prototypes and should get worked out when production is started...but a DSG is still best
