Got the kids an indoor trampoline which can handls my tank-ass and want to build ye 'Ol tramp-bike.

Should I not use my actual riding frame?
Why don't people use pedals (I feel like tearing risks can be averted and I want to actually learn some tricks, not just throw silly-stuff.
Any suggestions for transferring this to actual riding(trails)?
