right now i run a 2.3 tire up front and a 2.1 in the rear with 1.95-2.35 sized tubes in them...........ive got a total of 6 spair tubes in this size............ill be getting some 2.5 tires after i get my new frame, my question is...............is it safe to run my spare tubes (2.35) in a 2.5 tire all of the time? or will that make the tube wall thin and subject to pinch flats?

it'll be thinner, but I've never noticed much of a difference. I've really not had any trouble running smaller tubes, just don't be a hack and you'll be fine.
