I have now officially been stuck in the snow. My fault, driving the 2wd were I should not have had the 4wd. Good little adventure in the 20 degree weather to get out, dig, and put the chains on in the snow.

Howdy all. Academic morning off.
I'm going to use the time to do a (non-realtime) video interview, for a practice located in Dothan, Alabama, of all places. I think it's actually a pretty cool way to conduct a screening interview, certainly better than the usual phone interview, fraught with reception issues and lack of facial expression context and the like.
In other news, I will not be joining the Portland crew, as OHSU declined to offer me a job. Denver is still a remote possibility as they haven't said no, but they haven't said yes, either, and I interviewed there going on two months ago now…

4 days straight skiing. 3 at Jackson Hole (holy fvck is that mountain big) and a "rest" day at Steamboat. All 4 were powder days.

No dumbass, All our ambulances are required to undergo a CHP safety inspection once a year as part of our use permit issued by the state of California. We got though half our fleet today and the other half will get pulled out for inspection on Thursday
