Felt like I could not get to sleep last night. Oh well.

Backup camera on the car hasn't been popping up since yesterday, thought I was going to have to start dealing with that latch issue bullshit again. Nope, whole thing was just covered in ice.

Half day at work today. Going to help pack and move out all of the girlfriend's fathers items from his spot.

Good morning, lovelies. I dragged my lazy ass to the pool early this morning and swam 2100 yards. For my second swim in six months, I actually felt pretty good. Slow going, but my endurance was good. I credit all of my upper body work in the gym lately.

WFH day...Champions League soccer this afternoon will be a good distraction.

Was up at 5. Which sadly is usual wake up time.
So far I've coffeed and did lady dog's nails.
Need to get weekly food and maybe a ride later.

GF gave me the official 'go ahead' for a fall BC vacation. Sorry UT, you will be missed. :(
We'll still venture into friendly VT in May.

Youngest turns 12 today. He's home "sick". His grandma should be arriving soon to take him to have a little fun this morning.

Back at work after a weekend (and a recovery day) from the Canadian Ski Marathon... I skied a little over 32 miles (60km) over two days, but I'm mostly proud and impressed by my boy (14) who skied 100 miles over those two days. He did it with a group of friends, two of which were skiing with all their gear to sleep outside over night.

On the trail:

(bronze medals = did the whole distance, silver = the whole distance with a 12 lb pack, and gold = the whole distance w full pack and slept outside).

WFH day, I hope. For some reason my desktop doesn't want to display the remote session of my dev box at work, I just get the wallpaper and a mouse cursor, but there isn't anything displayed for my desktop. My laptop (next to my desktop on the same network) seems to have no issues. WTF.

More tools arriving today, also ordered about 2 grand worth of parts for the CJ, still waiting on suspension components.

In other news,

Debating dropping some decent green on some tools made in Ukraine seems a gamble to see if they clear customs these days

In other, other news

finally got pacific power to take my call for a new service hookup for the town lots.

/me is in stoney's hood. drive down actually wasn't that bad, and by that I mean ~40 min. paying off one HELOC today (by shifting its remaining balance to the other as it has headroom and its rate is much better) so shall drive around to a PNC branch at mid day.
