I just got a DHR this season and for some reason my rear derailleur cable keeps snapping. I've only ridden it really @ Massanutten and this weekend @ Snowshoe. Has anyone had the same problem or any suggestions?

try the Turner area on MTBR but my guess is you're just unlucky because you did the same thing last year at Snowshoe on the KHS.
How and where is it snapping. If it is breaking at the derailer try an Avid rollamajig they shortren up the loop of cable as it goes into the derailer.
make sure your limit screw isn't set too far in to get into your "easiest" gear. I'm not saying your an idiot, but the fear of the chain in the spokes has caused me to be TOO cautious on my R9.
