Two rangers pulled into the Rincon parking lot today and started putting fliers on all of the cars and writing down license plate numbers. They said there are a bunch of illegal trails in Henry Cowell between UCSC and Hwy 9. They have not been enforcing the no bikes policy because they have not been staffed well enough. Now they have enough people to take care of this area. Amazing that they have more people on staff since California has no money.
So they are going to start citing anybody on bikes that they see entering or leaving HC property.
It's over folks.
Of course, the real deal is that it's easy money for the state.
