So I have two questions, I sold off some bike parts and have been thinking about a couple of upgrades and wanted some advice. Right now I am rolling a demo 7 w/ a totem solo air up front. Overall I love the feel of the fork, but there have been times that I have been missing a dual crown and have considered picking up a boxxer team or 888. My question is, will the extra inch of travel really make a difference up front? It's not like I have been bottoming out the totem, it just that at high speed through the rocky stuff I have not felt as confident as I was rocking a dc fork, don't know if it is mental or what?? Thoughts?
One other question I have is I am kinda in need of upgrading my chainguide and am wondering if I should just replace it with another gamut or Lg-1. The gamut has not let me down in the past, I just like the look of the Lg-1. What's the general consensus?
