I bought some Fabio Wilmer POC Air knee guards but they're a combination of bulky and rigid and still too small and not secure enough. I wanted useless but not that useless.... back they go.

Tried some 7IDP Hill Air sleeves. They seem ok, might get some to try.

Ok, quick report back. Ended up buying the 7iDP Sam Hill Air sleeves and the Alpinestars Paragon Lites.

Both work great for what I'm looking for. The 7iDP provides better protection of the two, the Alpinestars are scarily thin but the best ventilated knee pads I've ever tried and very low profile. They'll be my go to QLD summer rides I reckon as well as for going under long pants.

not in Whistler anymore :/
i couldn't make the 7dip ellbows to work, tried both the normal and the lite ones. the sam hill knee are the best ever.

ellbows i now protect with the pro-x3 from g-form. they don't slide and they are not too hot
