any particular reason why the table vBulletin tag isn't enabled?

kind of a dumb question, but what are the exact reasons that html code is disabled for posts? most obvious is that it would be easy to abuse; is that the only one?

It's the only explantion that matters. HTML used by noobs or pricks could really screw things up.
